Beck Conservation Session - Tang Hall Community Orchard
Help us reclaim Tang Hall Community Orchard as we dig out the encroaching bramble and prep the area for seed sowing before putting down a wildflower seed mixture.
The orchard is located on the Sustrans route 66 cycle path - near Tang Hall Lane bridge (the bridge directly opposite 131 Tang Hall lane). Head east from the bridge on to the cycle path and walk in the direction of the city centre. You'll soon see the sign for the orchard on your right. Meet us at the Tang Hall Community Orchard Sign - https://what3words.com/sage.claps.ducks. Any problems on the day call Maeve on 07751970199.
Please read the following risk assessment and follow this guidance during the session:
Scrub and Path Management Risk Assessment 2024
Outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear recommended.
This is a drop in session so no need to book!
Under 13s need to be accompanied by an adult and under 16s need parental consent if not accompanied by an adult. Download a Parental Consent Form and email it to the listed contact for this session.
Please note, our conservation sessions will be cancelled if amber or red weather warnings are issued. This is to ensure the safety of both staff and volunteers.
