Nature Adventurers Half term special

Join us for some fun autumnal activities at St Nicks nature reserve. Learn new skills and meet new people. We’ll be based in the woodland - den building, fire lighting, using tools, making nature crafts, playing games, campfire cooking, learning about nature and plenty more. Campfire lunch (for example jacket potatoes, soup or toasted sandwiches with various fillings) and snacks will be provided. We will cater to dietary and allergy requirements.

Timings

Meet at the St Nicks Environment centre.

10:00-12:30 – family friendly session aimed at under 8’s (children must be supervised by adults)

12:30-15:00 – afternoon session for 8-14 year olds (children can be left unattended if they have parental consent)

Please note: If you have children who fit into both age categories please attend the under 8’s session to ensure supervision for younger children.

What to wear

All our sessions take place outside in the woodland so dress according to the weather (eg. waterproofs/ warm layers / wellies) and wear clothes that you don't mind getting muddy. As we are in the woodland it is sometimes cooler in the shade so it is advisable to bring an extra layer.
