Scarcroft Green Corridor

Over the last fifteen years we have created lots of areas in our neighbourhood where biodiversity can flourish: pollinator patches of wildflowers, native trees and fruit trees, and longer grass.

But they do need a tidy-up from time to time!

Come and learn to scythe safely and effectively with a team from St Nicks, and help rake up the cut grasses and flower seed heads and clear the big weeds, so that next year looks even lovelier.

Thursday August 29th 2.30- 4.30pm : meet at Clement’s Hall: tree and bramble management and grass scything

ALL WELCOME

Bring gardening gloves if you have them and wear shoes or boots not sandals, and long trousers in case of nettles!
