Willow Management at Clifton Tansy Pond

Wednesday 18th February, 9.30am-3.30pm

Help us manage this important habitat for the endangered Tansy beetle. The task will be cutting back the willow. This is carried out yearly to prevent the willow shading out Tansy plants which is an important food plant for the beetles.

The session will be based at Clifton Tansy Pond with access to the facilities at the Cricket Club.

The session is suitable for up to 6 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.

Book this session for your team by clicking below. Timings can be adjusted if you would like to do a half day. A member of staff will then be in touch to confirm your booking and discuss details. For more information, contact Maeve Milliken by emailing maeve@stnicks.org.uk

If there are any health or mobility issues within your group that may affect someone carrying out the task, please get in touch and we will see what we can do to support you as there may be alternative tasks available. However not all tasks and sites are fully accessible.
