Nature Adventurers Spring Holiday Club

Join us for some fun spring activities at St Nicks Nature Reserve and Environment Centre.

Get ready for exciting activities, games, and adventures in nature. Our club is the perfect place for kids to explore, learn, and make new friends. Includes a campfire lunch (for example jacket potatoes, soup or toasted sandwiches with various fillings) and snacks. We will cater to dietary and allergy requirements.

This session is for children and young people aged 8 and over. Attendees do not have to be accompanied. Additional family sessions are available in the mornings. Children are welcome to attend both, though they must be accompanied in the morning session. Please book separately.

Please note, families with HAF vouchers can book free places for this activity on the Holiday Activities Website using your vouchers.

Timings

Meet at the St Nicks Environment centre.

10:00-12:30 – family friendly session aimed at under 8’s (children must be supervised by adults)

12:30 - 15:30 - family session aimed at 8-14 years.

Please note: If you have children who fit into both age categories please attend the under 8’s session to ensure supervision for younger children.

What to wear

All our sessions take place outside in the woodland so dress according to the weather (eg. warm coats, waterproofs) and wear clothes that you don't mind getting muddy.

Cost

Paid places are £8.50 per session, plus Eventbrite's booking fee.

Free funded places available for children receiving Free School Meals – please visit York City Council - HAF Website and search for "St Nicks" to book through City of York councils designated booking system.

We encourage all our visitors to come by foot, bicycle or bus whenever possible. There is limited parking available in front of the Environment Centre if needed.
