Improving Tansy Habitat - Fulford Village Green

Monday 19th January, 9:30am-3.30pm

Help us to improve Tansy habitat at Fulford Village Green. This plant species is vital for the endangered Tansy beetle. We are hoping to improve the wildlife value of the site by introducing more wildflower species, improving overall biodiversity. The activity will involve scything last year's Tansy to help it regenerate. We will then rake off the cuttings to stop extra nutrients getting back into the soil.

The closest facilities are at the Plough pub. The session is suitable for groups of 5-12 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do. The timings can be changed if you would prefer to do a half day.

Book this session for your team by clicking belowA member of staff will then be in touch to confirm your booking and discuss details. For more information, contact Maeve Milliken by emailing maeve@stnicks.org.uk.

If there are any health or mobility issues within your group that may affect someone carrying out the task, please get in touch and we will see what we can do to support you as there may be alternative tasks available. However not all tasks and sites are fully accessible.
