Help us to manage the diverse habitat throughout Fulford Ings, a fantastic area for seeing the beautiful Tansy beetle!
Our aim is to improve the value of the site for the benefit of people and wildlife. The activity will involve cutting back branches and scrub that is encroaching the grassland areas so that is doesn't shade out important plants species. You will also learn the art of creating dead hedges - another great habitat used by small mammals, birds and insects.
The nearest facilities are at The Plough pub (about a 15min walk). The session is suitable for groups of 5-10 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
