Meadow management and fence building in Rawcliffe
Thursday 21st November, 1pm - 4pm
Help us improve this area for wildflowers and trees.
Come and help us manage the floodplain meadow in this forgotten corner of Rawcliffe. We will be scything around some young trees which were planted last year. We will also be fixing the fence which was put up to protect those trees from the resident horses in the field (who have managed to destroy the fence!). If you have a fear of horses, this session is not for you, they are very curious.
The session will be based in a field down a lane called Cricket Field Cottages, off Clifton Park Avenue. There are no facilities on site, nearest toilets are at the Dormouse pub (approx. 500m away).
The session is suitable for groups of 5-12 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Book this session for your team by clicking below, if you want to do a full day, please also click the session for the morning. A member of staff will then be in touch to confirm your booking and discuss details. For more information, contact Nicola Ward by emailing nicola@stnicks.org.uk
