Scrub Clearance at West Nooks Water Meadow: River Foss - Haxby

Monday 19th October 10am-1pm

Join us at West Nooks and help to improve the ditches between the river and the meadow. This is part of our annual rotational scrub clearance regime, we will clear areas of bramble and willow using loppers, shears and saws. Full training given on the day so no experience necessary!

This session will take place at West Nooks Water Meadow (YO32 3FD). There are no facilities on site, but there are several nearby cafes where we can use facilities. The session is suitable for groups of 5-10 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.

If there are any health or mobility issues within your group that may affect someone carrying out the task, please get in touch and we will see what we can do to support you as there may be alternative tasks available. However not all tasks and sites are fully accessible.
